FAQ
Why do I need Gun Cleaner?
How many times have you struggled to remove dirt and powder residue from your gear after shooting? How many brass brushes have you destroyed while cleaning your pistol or rifle? And how long did it take you? And if you have several guns-an hour or two?
Now that’s a thing of the past!
Riflecx Firearm Remover was created to make the firearm cleaning process as simple and short as possible.
Thanks to high pressure and specially selected ingredients, it removes dirt, carbon build-up, deposits of lead, copper, nickel, as well as oil and grease- without the need for a brush!
Now your gun will be clean and degreased – quickly and effortlessly.
The remover evaporates quickly leaving a dry and clean surface ready for further maintenance with maintenance and repair fluid or gun oil.
The remover will not damage any plastic or wooden parts, and does not contain chlorinated solvents – you can use it without worry for any type of firearm.
Why do I need CLP oil?
In a nutshell- to keep your gun running smoothly and to reduce wear and tear. CLP oil is applied after using remover and repair maintenance fluid.
Its thick consistency and special chemical composition (no ‘flecks’ stick to it) keep your weapon running smoothly.
The oil should be applied to moving parts – first of all the guides and the trigger mechanism.
It is also worth lubricating the barrel of the gun – it will not rub against the lock and we will avoid abrasions.
Just a little bit is enough – do not pour large quantities onto the gun, there is no need for Riflecx oil.
It will reduce friction and also protect our equipment from water, acids or alkalis.
It lasts a very long time, so you can rest assured that your weapon will work reliably.
The oil adheres firmly and permanently to the surface providing abrasion resistance to pressure, high pressure and temperature.
It is safe for wood.
Why do I need a maintenance fluid with Teflon?
After all, there are gun cleaners and preservatives in one. There is a wise saying that if something is for everything, it is for …. nothing.
The purpose of the remover is to wash away dirt and degrease the weapon. If you finish cleaning the gun and put it in the cupboard, you may be surprised after a while – your equipment will be as red as a squirrel and getting rid of rust is really time-consuming.
After the remover, a maintenance and repair fluid comes into play.
Riflecx, as one of the few manufacturers in the world, uses genuine Telfon® from DuPont and not Chinese substitutes. This ensures that your weapon is covered with a top quality product to protect it from rust.
If you need to put the gun in the cabinet, spray it with Riflecx preservative and repair fluid and then leave it until the moisture evaporates leaving a layer of Teflon that acts as an anti-corrosion agent.
If you carry the weapon with you, wipe it gently after using the liquid. The protective coating will still remain and your weapon will shine like straight off the shop shelf.
Genuine Teflon increases abrasion resistance, resists acids and alkalis and protects your weapon from freezing.
Directions for use:
Apply the preparation to all parts of the weapon. Excess liquid can be removed with a cloth or compressed air.
The Teflon® layer protects metal and plastic parts by creating the best available protective barrier against wear. The Teflon® coating is abrasion resistant – Teflon® has an extremely low coefficient of friction. The formulation provides corrosion protection and protects against freezing, the effects of water, acids and alkalis.
Why do I need a soap that removes heavy metals?
Whether you work at a shooting range or shoot recreationally – very harmful gases are given off when you shoot.
The whole problem is that although they poison your body, the effects are not immediate. The body accumulates them and, of course, at the least opportune moment in life, it will bill you for your actions.
To say that lead harms is a truism. And not just the kind that flies a few hundred metres per second – which we will notice immediately if it hits us – but also the kind emitted in the form of gunpowder gases.
Heavy metals accumulate in the body, especially in the liver and kidneys, and damage them and can cause acute or chronic poisoning (e.g. lead or mercury).
They also have a toxic effect on the brain, hence symptoms from the nervous system often appear, such as sleep disorders, impaired concentration and memory, paresis and even symptoms resembling mental illness.
Heavy metals can also lead to bone decalcification, infertility, adverse changes in the cardiovascular system, damage to the foetus and the development of cancer.
Chronic fatigue, weakness, fluctuating emotional states, memory or sleep disturbances – how many of us associate this with a great hobby at the shooting range?
However, once the poison enters the body, it works continuously…
For our safety, we should minimise the risk – use a mask at the shooting range (which is inconvenient)- and wash the harmful metals off our skin. And especially when we are about to eat a meal….
And isn’t ordinary soap enough?
Unfortunately, no. Ordinary soap will expand the pores of the skin making it easier for the poison to enter the body. MILITARY SOAP is a clinically tested formulation with proven heavy metal removal properties. It can be used on hands, the whole body and even hair.
In addition, it has been enriched with moisturising substances that provide the skin with adequate protection without drying it out and giving it a velvety smoothness.
Dermatologically tested.
When used regularly, it minimises the risk of lead.
Take care of yourself and your loved ones – health is priceless.
Capacity 50, 300 and 4000ml.
Clear shot: Why do I need a Clear Shot?
You shoot competitions. You run around the track, targets are adorned by more Alphas and poppers fall under bullets or shot. Just a few more targets. Sweaty, tired, you strain your eyes to hit quickly and accurately and…. you see fog. Your glasses fog up and you have to shoot ‘over the barrel’. Well, let’s face it…
You’re hunting. You’re walking through the woods, an animal runs out, you line up to shoot and… where did those greasy streaks on the scope come from! Well, damn…
These are just two examples out of dozens that can be given. Fogged up glasses all year round – in winter when you enter a warmer room, in summer from steaming sweat – this is the real bane of shooters of all kinds.
Dirty optics – whether collimator or scope – make it impossible to aim properly and force you to shoot uncertainly.
You can avoid these problems with Clear Shot. A product which we have tested for a long time and which contains anti-evaporating and cleaning ingredients. Safe for eyepieces, scopes and collimators – alcohol-free.
Based on our Fast & Easy philosophy, we provide you with a complete solution to the problem of fogged up glasses or dirty optics. Along with the bottle of product, you will receive a free Riflecx cloth to wipe off any excess product after use and on the side of the bottle you have a QR code – scan it and it will direct you to our instructions on how to use Clear Shot.
Time and effort is spent on shooting and not cleaning.
Why do I need silencer cleaning fluid?
Until recently, suppressors for firearms were a highly controversial topic.
Associated with commandos liquidating Bin Laden, they generated endless discussions about their legality, installation, use and so on….
Today, fortunately, they are becoming increasingly popular.
Used at shooting ranges, they help to reduce the noise and annoyance of its vicinity and significantly reduce complaints from nearby residents.
Silencers are also used during hunting, for hunting weapons.
To meet the needs of their owners, Riflecx has developed a product for cleaning them.
For both strippable and non-strippable versions.
We recommend the product for steel suppressors; damage to the oxide may occur with aluminum suppressors.
Why do I need solid lubricant?
Today, technology has advanced and the training system has also changed a bit.
After cleaning the weapon, lubricate the gas piston with Riflecx solid lubricant. After shooting, remove the piston, wipe it with a cloth and …. ready, the piston is as good as new. All the dirt goes right down with the grease – you no longer have to spend hours scrubbing the metal.
Riflecx solid lubricant is recommended for long guns – it keeps your gun running smoothly and reduces wear considerably.
It reduces friction, protects against corrosion and, above all, facilitates cleaning by preventing carbon build-up on metal parts.
Riflecx, as one of the few manufacturers in the world, uses genuine Telfon® from DuPont and not Chinese substitutes. This ensures that your gun is covered with a top quality product, which allows it to work seamlessly at low (up to-60°C) and very high temperatures while maintaining its form.
The solid lubricant is applied after using the remover and repair maintenance fluid.
